1. I have discovered my calling!
Well, I kind of had an idea already. But now, thanks to CGA and Neil Bruinsma, I can tell you what it is in a sentence.
I was made to shepherd others into abundant lives of freedom and intimacy with God by being an expression of encouragement and truth through worship, creativity, leadership, and interpersonal relationships.
It can be kind of a mouthful but it is my calling, and I am not a woman of few words. God has provided an exciting opportunity for me to live out my calling and…
2. I have a new job!
Praise the Lamb. Adventures in Missions liked me so much they decided to keep me. Today was my first day serving as Worship Programs Coordinator. While in CGA, I apprenticed in the Worship Department where I learned so much, and had a lot of fun! In my new role, I’ll take on more responsibility in developing and coordinating events, and I’ll develop and oversee our prayer and prophetic teams. I’m really excited to make an impact for the Kingdom in this way!
And since I have a new job…
3. I’m moving! …or more like I’m going to stop moving.
I’ve been living in Georgia since September, but now that I’m not in a program and I have an actual job, I’ll be moving my residency here. Its been a few years since I’ve had roots anywhere. I’ve been vagabonding all over the place for a while so choosing somewhere to call “home” is a little scary for me. I know this isn’t the end of my wild and free traveling days though (RV dream anyone?). Now I just get to be wild and free and (mostly) stationary.
Speaking of, did you know that no matter how much you push the envelope it’ll still be stationery? HahahahahaHA I love puns. Some things never change.
Like the fact that…
4. I’m in need of your support!
As Adventures is a non-profit, one of my responsibilities as a staff member is to raise funds for the organization. I’m seeking people who can offer financial and prayer support. Please consider making a commitment to donate $25, $50, or $100 monthly. If you’re unable to give financially right now, you can still support me by subscribing to my shiny new blog, and joining my support group (via Facebook) to receive regular updates and prayer requests from me. If you’d like to be a part of that please let me know.
Seriously though, you should subscribe to my blog. I have a feeling like this season is going to birth a lot of poetic stuff in me. You fo’sho don’t wanna miss that.
PEACE AND BLESSINS.
